What is diammonium phosphate (DAP)?

DAP vs. MAP — which should I choose?
DAP (18-46-0) has higher phosphate content and is the industry standard for most field crops. MAP (11-52-0) has slightly higher P₂O₅ and more nitrogen per unit P, making it preferred for blending and fertigation. For bulk field application, DAP is usually more cost-effective.
What is single superphosphate (SSP)?
SSP (0-20-0) contains 20% P₂O₅ plus around 10–11% sulphur and 20% calcium. It is the most cost-effective phosphate source when sulphur nutrition is also needed.
What is triple superphosphate (TSP)?
TSP (0-46-0) contains 46% P₂O₅ and no nitrogen. It is the highest-concentration solid phosphate fertilizer available, used when nitrogen input must be kept separate from phosphate application.
